Men's Cross Country Receives At-Large Bid into NCAA Championship

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's cross country team has received an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Championship. The 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will be hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 18. The men's championship will air live on ncaa.com starting at 10 a.m. 

Thirty-two teams will compete in the championship with the field composed of ten regional champions and 22 additional at-large team selections. Seventy individuals, including the first seven student-athletes from each region who were not part of a qualifying team, also qualified. 

The Warhawks finished second in the regional bolstered by Christian Patzka's (Black Earth, Wis./Wisconsin Heights) second-consecutive individual regional title.
