SUNY New Paltz Intramural Sports October Breast Cancer Awareness Trick Shot Video Submission Challenge

10/6/2020 12:00:00 PM

New Paltz, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz wants you to stay competitive and involved while practicing social distancing through a fun contest that tests both skill and creativity.

The trick shot challenge is back after a successful competition in the spring semester with a new twist. In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month and not having our traditional fall sports, we are asking all participants in the trick shot challenge to have a pink article of clothing or pink item in their video to be eligible for the trick shot challenge. All current students, faculty and staff are eligible to submit videos for the Breast Cancer Awareness trick shot challenge. All video submissions must be in by Saturday, October 31 before midnight with submitted videos then being put in a "March Madness" styled bracket to be voted on by the public. The overall winner will receive a shout out on all #NPHawks, #NPHawksWellRec and #NPHawksIM social media platforms and earn a coveted intramural championship t-shirt. #doitfortheshirt

Video submissions can be sent to Assistant Wellness & Recreation Director/Aquatics Director Kevin Makarewicz at makarewk@newpaltz.edu or can be directed messaged to any #NPHawks or #NPWellRec Instagram (@npwellrec or @newpaltzhawks) and Twitter accounts (@npwellrec or @nphawks).
