Carol Brady is the only Brady Bunch character not to have her name in an episode title

Based on the concept of a "blended family," The Brady Bunch featured the union of a widower (Mike Brady) and his three sons with a woman (Carol Brady) and her three daughters. The show ran for five seasons on ABC, from September 26, 1969 to March 8, 1974. Actress Florence Henderson played the part of Carol Brady.

Initially, the show revolved around the adjustments and rivalries that come with newly blended families. As the series went on, plot lines focused on more typical themes for family dramas, such as teenage crushes, sibling rivalry, and character building.

The show's opening sequence became famous for its three-by-three grid layout, with a video headshot of each family member appearing to look at the other cast members. The Brady Bunch's success in syndication led to several television reunion specials and spin-offs.
