Boston, Ma. – Stockton University traveled to New England and rowed in the Women's Collegiate Eights at the 55th annual Head of Charles Regatta on Sunday afternoon. The Head of the Charles is one of most famous regattas in the sport, attracting over 11,000 athletes and tens of thousands of spectators.

Michaela Pope (Collingswood/Collingswood) rowed in the event.
Kaitlyn Bradley (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) was the coxswain for the Ospreys. Stockton finished 25th with a time of 4:07.849 in the Women's Collegiate Eights, which had a field of primarily NCAA Division III teams, with a few Division I, Division II and club teams in the mix as well.
Stockton's application to row in the Head of the Charles was accepted back in early September. The regatta has been held on the Charles River since 1965 and today includes 55 different events. Competitors row on a scenic course in one of America's oldest cities that begins at the Boston University Boathouse and flows under several arched bridges on the way to the finish line.
Stockton will conclude the fall portion of the 2019-20 season on Saturday, October 26 when the Ospreys row in the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia.
