WoodSongs is a live audience celebration of grassroots music and the artists who make it broadcast on over 500+ radio stations, on American Forces Radio Network twice each weekend in 177 nations, every military base and US Naval ship in the world, in millions of TV homes as a public TV series and Friday’s on RFD-TV America’s Most Important Rural Network. WoodSongs is produced 44 Mondays a year.

MICHELLE WRIGHT is a country music artist originally from Canada. She burst onto U.S. radio In the early 90s and went on to score twenty‐five Top Ten radio hits with songs heard on country music stations worldwide including the hit TAKE IT LIKE A MAN. She comes to WoodSongs performing songs that have helped her win over forty major awards, including 16 CCMA Awards and her induction into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. 

ELVIE SHANE is a Kentuckian who broke into the music scene with his Platinum certified Number One single, My Boy. A heartfelt tribute to a step-parents unconditional love. Elvie Shane’s sophomore album, “Damascus,” draws on powerful imagery and reflects Shane’s own journey of grappling with success, mental health issues, and the search for meaning in the midst of acclaim. Shane tackles themes of community, mental health, and the pursuit of the American dream, offering a raw and diverse musical experience.

ROB ROBINSON also known as the front man for a band called HEAVYDRUNK Rob is a veteran songwriter and blues musician. His songwriting and vocal expertise is reflected in the infectious, swampy groves of the first single “If I loved You Hard Enough.” Rob is not just a brilliant blues musicians, he also supports other artists as owner of the infamous and historic Puckett’s Grocery in Leiper’s Fork, Tn just outside of Nashville, one of the best live music venues in middle Tennessee. HANNAH CONNOLLY is a passionate blues artist and Americana songwriter whose personal journey and musical evolution make her a compelling addition to WoodSongs. Originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, her debut album “From Where You Are” is an immersive meditation on profound loss and grief, stemming from the tragic death of her younger brother. “After losing my youngest brother to a drunk driver, I struggled with processing grief.  It took a long time to be able to see beauty in the world again and the place I ended up finding it was in nature,” Connolly’s musical journey began with her love for theater and storytelling, eventually leading her to join a pop-punk band and discover her passion for music-making. STEPHANE WREMBEL is one of the world’s foremost guitarists, specializing in the distinctive style of the legendary composer/guitarist Django Reinhardt. Hailing from Fontainebleau, France, Wrembel honed his craft traversing the French countryside before graduating Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston. With a career that spans the globe, he has released an impressive 17 albums under his own name and the pseudonym, The Django Experiment. His world-class band includes Josh Kaye on guitar, Ari Folman-Cohen on bass, and Nick Anderson on drums.

CATFISH INTHE SKY is a band with an instrument make-up of fiddle, cello, cajon, and ukulele. With a style described as “Upbeat Americana Folk-Grass for All Ages,” these Berklee students are able to combine the vast array of styles and musical backgrounds. Ranging from fiddle tune standards to original music, Catfish in the Sky is sure to have something everyone will love.is made up of Ruth Shumway on Fiddle, Sammy Wetstein on Cello, Owen Miller On Cajón, and Sho Humphries on Ukulele. The quartet currently attends Berklee, pursuing their studies while performing in Boston and beyond.

JOHN OATES returns to WoodSongs with songs from his latest album. He is half of the best-selling duo of all time, Hall & Oates, as well as an accomplished solo artist. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The American Songwriters Hall of Fame, recipient of the prestigious BMI Icon Award as well as numerous American Music, MTV awards, and multiple Grammy nominations. Since forming his creative partnership with Daryl Hall in the early 1970s, they have gone on to record 21 albums, which have sold over 80 million records, making them the most successful duo in rock history. They have scored 10 number one records, over 20 Top 40 hits, and have toured the world for decades. Their involvement in the original “Live Aid” concert and the groundbreaking “We Are The World” charity recording have further established them as legendary artists, who have personally and through their music, stood the test of time.
