WoodSongs is a live audience celebration of grassroots music and the artists who make it. The program airs on hundreds of radio stations, PBS affiliate stations, the RFD-TV Network nationwide and American Forces Radio Network (2 channels) in 177 nations. WoodSongs is produced 40 Mondays a year, all year. Here who is on the schedule so far. Professor Louie Professor Louie is best known for his work with Professor Louie & The Crowmatix. “Roots Music Royalty” of WoodStock, NY. s a composer, prolific recording artist and versatile accordion player and multi-instrumentalist. Louie also wears the hat of award-winning recording Producer and Engineer, capturing the talents of some of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians, most notably, The Band (Levon Helm, Robbie Robertson and the guys). Co-producing The Band’s last three CD’s including their comeback hits Atlantic City (Bruce Springsteen) & Blind Willie Mctell along with much of their 90’s repertoire. Brittany Jean a singer-songwriter known for her clear, emotive vocals and heartfelt storytelling. DANIELLE NICOLE – 7 Time Blues Music Award winner and Grammy-nominated blues singer-songwriter and bassist, known for her powerhouse vocals and dynamic stage presence. She has been inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame and has been the recipient of  Eight Blues Music Awards.

OLIVIA ELLEN LOYD is a West Virginia-born singer-songwriter whose music blends classic country storytelling with modern Americana influences. Her deeply personal lyrics and warm, nostalgic sound reflect both her Appalachian roots and a sharp contemporary voice.

MEAN MARY – Award-winning pioneer of the frailing banjo master and fan favorite (over 35 million views on her YouTube videos), Mean Mary, literally grew-up in music. A child prodigy who played for tips on the streets of Nashville to a seasoned performer and headliner of over 4000 festivals and concerts (“the voice of a ragged Angel combined with the banjo playing of the Devil” says No Depression). THE GASOLINE GYPSIES – are a Michigan-based Americana rock band celebrated for their rich four-part harmonies, dual lead guitars, and a rhythm section that blends drums, bass, and keys. Their music draws from rock, folk, bluegrass, and country influences, creating a unique sound that resonates with diverse audiences.

ERIK KOSKINEN – is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer,. The rhythmic integrity and musical tone is as important as the lyrical content and the artistic intent.  Koskinen has reverently entered the anthology of uniquely crafted wry songs with the likes of Woody Guthrie and Ry Cooder while speaking as plainly as your neighbor. The Minneapolis Star Tribune calls Koskinen “the real deal” and “The best country songwriter in Minnesota”

LEVI FOSTER – is a Virginia-born country singer-songwriter whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with influences from ‘90s rock and classic country. He has opened shows for greats like Trace Adkins, John Conlee, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, Vince Gill, The Time Jumpers, and Oliver Anthony.

CHARLIE MUSSELWHITE – is a Grammy Award-winning blues harmonica virtuoso, singer, and songwriter, renowned for his expressive playing and deep-rooted contributions to American blues music. Born in Mississippi and raised in Memphis, he has released over 20 albums and collaborated with legends like Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf.  as a pivotal figure in the blues genre.

PETE MANCINI – is a New York-based singer-songwriter whose music blends Americana, drawing comparisons to artists like Tom Petty and John Prine. He has opened for greats such as Los Lobos, Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Larry Campbell & Theresa Williams. Mancini has released several acclaimed solo albums.

IAN FLANIGAN – is a New York-born singer-songwriter whose soulful blend of country, folk, and Americana earned him national recognition as a finalist on Season 19 of The Voice in 2020. Known for his gravelly, emotive vocals and heartfelt songwriting, Flanigan continues to tour and release music, including his 2025 album The Man My Mama Raised, which reflects on personal growth and his journey through sobriety and fatherhood.

ADAM CHAFFINS – is a Kentucky-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends Appalachian roots with elements of soul, country, and Americana. Known for his rich baritone and emotive storytelling. He has performed with greats such as Billy Strings, The War & Treaty, Stephen Sanchez, Susan Werner, Ashley Campbell and Brit Taylor.
