The African American Youth Leadership Conference (AAYLC) is excited to announce that conference registration is NOW OPEN!


The AAYLC is a fun-filled educational experience for all! It's a space where youth, parents, the broader Colorado Springs community, and beyond can participate and engage in captivating workshops, live entertainment, networking and resource sharing, food, prize giveaways, and much more! 

 

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy themselves at one of the most lively and worthwhile events hosted in the Pikes Peak region in 2024!

Aisha Young

Aisha Young is a native of Colorado and graduate of Lewis-Palmer High school. She is one of the historical attendees at the first co-ed AAYLC annual conference in the late 90s.

Alice Miles

Alice Miles received her Master's in Social Work, MSW and is currently pursuing her Clinical license (LCSW) as a Social Work Candidate. Alice is known to her colleagues and clients as "the Miss Frizzle of mental health."

Allen Hunter

Allen Hunter is a Colorado Native, and now calls Colorado Springs his home. His focus is on community outreach and engagement.

Angela Hall

Angela Hall is a certified neuromuscular massage therapist and a mother of two.

Ashley Cornelius

Ashley Cornelius is the Pikes Peak Region Poet Laureate and is a multi-award winning, nationally recognized poet, facilitator, keynote speaker and cultural worker.

Aspyn McClain

Aspyn McClain, a Sierra High School sophomore, is a young woman of many talents. She is an honor student participating in basketball, Elevated, and AVID, as well as a Stoud Scholar.

Calvin Mack

Calvin Mack retired from a career spanning 30 years as an Electric Trouble Dispatcher for City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Cheerish Martin

Cheerish Martin is a seasoned performer and community activist in Colorado. You may have seen Cheerish in the one woman show playing Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill with THEATREWORKS Colorado Springs.

Cynthia Camble is a Motivational Speaker, Author, Senior Executive and Consultant with more than 25 years of success across the Nonprofit, Compliance and Quality management industries.
