Graduate Student Housing

Welcome to the Valparaiso University Community!

On behalf of the Division of Student Life and the Office of Residential Life, we would like to welcome you to our community! We are excited to have you joining our Valpo family! As you begin your transition to the Valparaiso community and your graduate program, we would like to share with you information about campus and local housing options.

On-Campus Housing Options

Our eight residence halls and two apartment buildings are home to 1,500 undergraduate & graduate students. While Valparaiso requires undergraduate students to reside in University-operated housing for six (6) semesters, this requirement does not apply to graduate students.

Some of our graduate students are looking for a place to stay for a few week(s) as they identify long-term off-campus housing, while other graduate students are looking for housing options that would be longer in duration. Valparaiso University offers both short-term and long-term housing options for graduate students in Wehrenberg Hall.

All students who reside on campus must be familiar with and agree to abide by Residential Life Policies (including but not limited to visitation, alcohol, drug, and smoking policy) and the policies outlined in our Graduate Housing Agreement.

  • Weekly-Transitional Only- (One week minimum, two weeks maximum)
