Apply to Mayor Stoney's Educator Task Force
Please complete this application to be considered for membership of Mayor Stoney's Educator Task Force.

The mission for the Educator Task Force (ETF) is to engage and elevate educator voice to support and advance Mayor Stoney’s children, youth and education priorities for his second term while also responding as needed to emerging priorities.

Specific goals for the 2021 Educator Task Force will be twofold: one, recommendations regarding how best to prepare Richmond youth to succeed in careers and/or college with a specific focus on career preparation for students in grades 6-12; and two, recommendations regarding how best to leverage a year-round calendar, which will launch in 2022, to maximize out-of-school time engagement for Richmond children in grades K-8.

Regular meetings will begin in May 2021 (meeting schedule will be shared with finalists) with a goal of presenting initial recommendations to Mayor Stoney by December 2021.
