Attijariwafa bank (Morocco) is opening its network of ATMs to the poorest households in the country who will benefit from the assistance of the newly announced COVID-19 Pandemic Management Fund.

The bank is providing assistance via its network of 1,700 ATMs running KAL’s ATM Software. The beneficiaries were notified on 6 April, 2020,  that this financial assistance had been made available. Customers can go to their nearest Attijariwafa bank ATM and make a withdrawal by entering a special code received on their mobile phone.

It’s mandatory for all Moroccan banks to offer this service. Crédit du Maroc, another bank using KAL ATM software will also be implementing the service beginning the week of 13 April, 2020.
