Conversation With: Gender Expansion in the Contemporary Theater
Tuesday, MARCH 18, 2025 | 6:00 PM (this event has been moved to online)
Actor, writer, and educator Jo Michael Rezes and the Queer (Re)Public Programs Manager at The Theater Offensive, Des Bennett, will join Artistic Director, Jim Frangione and Associate Artistic Director, Judy Braha to discuss their experiences as a nonbinary actors and advocates. Together they will discuss and reimagine how the theatre community can support queer, trans, and nonbinary artists, both on stage and off.

Great Barrington Public Theater was established in 2019 to create opportunities for theater artists and theater lovers in the Berkshires.
We spotlight the many top playwrights, actors, directors, designers, and technicians in our towns and neighboring areas. We present compelling, provocative new plays that leap off the stage, throughout the summer in the state-of-the-art Daniel Arts Center, on the campus of Bard College at Simon’s Rock, and throughout the year at Saint James Place, both located in Great Barrington, MA .
