Our Maverick Food Pantry needs your help to restock

U T A Maverick Food Pantry photograph

UTA staff and faculty are invited to partner with Student Government for the Fill the Pantry, Fill the Heart food drive to ensure no Maverick has to worry about putting food on the table.

How you can help:

Donate nonperishable items such as rice, canned proteins (tuna, chicken, etc.), dried beans, pasta, peanut butter, paper towels, shelf-stable milk, and spices. Please see the list at the bottom of this message for requested sizes and preferred items, which are most helpful for individuals receiving the donations.

Take the 100-pound challenge: Each vice president and dean is encouraged to lead their teams in collecting at least 100 pounds of food.

Bring donations to bins located at:

  • University Center
  • University Administration Building
  • College Hall
  • Military Science
  • University Hall
  • Parking and Transportation Services
  • UTA Police Department Building
  • Military and Veteran Services

Give by Nov. 15 to help us reach our campus goal.
