Facilities Management is pleased to announce the restart of paid housekeeping services effective Sunday, May 24. Bookings can be made through 012 808 5052. Housekeepers will be available seven days per week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last appointment at 5:00 p.m.)
As we expect high demand of the service and to be fair to all residents, we will limit the service to one booking per household every two weeks until further notice. Each booking will consist of two housekeepers for one hour only. In addition, due to social distancing, logistical constraints and available resources, it will not be possible to request certain housekeepers by name.
For those people in shared accommodation, your housekeeping entitlement will resume as normal.
In order to ensure the safety of both the Community and Housekeepers, the following measure will have to be followed:
- Housekeeping services will not be available in houses with residents under quarantine.
- Please keep all pets secure in a designated area or room whilst the housekeepers are present.
- For social distancing please keep 2 meters from your housekeepers
- Payment is to be made in cash and left on a table for collection. No change will be issued so please ensure to have the correct amount.
The housekeeping services have been approved to resume as KAUST has agreed strict monitoring measures on MACC facilities which align to the measures that KAUST has implemented themselves.
