Take the LEAD in your career with Leadership Education And Development (LEAD) professional learning, presented by Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) in University Human Resources.

LEAD equips today’s leaders with the tools and skills for tomorrow’s challenges. Engage with diverse methods of self-directed learning including online courses, group discussions, monthly challenges and more.

Beginning Aug. 1, 2024, L&OD will transition back to charging for most — but not all — LEAD courses. L&OD began waiving most course fees in 2020 in support of the NC State community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The collection of fees for LEAD courses allows L&OD to cover the cost of course materials and develop new and exciting learning opportunities for you. We’ll keep you informed about this change as more information becomes available.

LEAD Learning Events are opportunities to learn, refresh or share skills to help you grow your career. Participate in discussions about common workplace issues, explore ideas and professional best practices, and brainstorm new solutions in an open, informal learning environment.

LEAD Learning Events are open to all NC State Employees and typically last one hour.
