Reopening Schedule & Activities

Community Building Days provide the parents of children and youth in the ATP, ECEAP, Head Start, Early Childhood, Sensory, Social Emotional and FSA programs with the opportunity to engage in transition activities. The intent is for families to gain an understanding of the program location, and the ways adult caregivers can support their students as they begin to return to in-person instruction.

Bridge Weeks provide times for students to return in small groups for the purpose of engaging in activities that help them transition back into the school building.  Students with IEPs and who are placed in Mid-Level Blended, Sensory, Social-Emotional and Functional Skills and Academics (FSA) programs will be included in their general education peer groups. Bridge Weeks focus on supporting students’ social-emotional wellness, school-level Positive Behavior Interventions and Support systems, and helping them learn safety protocols. Bridge Weeks activities are planned by Northshore educators and will allow students to experience structured time with peers on the school campus.

The hybrid instructional schedule will include two days a week on campus in-person learning and two days a week of online learning. Educators will continue to finalize the details of our hybrid instructional schedule and ensure the continuity of learning as we make the transition from 100% remote instruction to hybrid learning for the identified student groups.
