About
The University of Utah's annual Black History Month celebration is a tapestry of events hosted across campus in recognition and celebration of Black history and culture. This year, the theme, which is chosen by the organization that founded Black History Month, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASAALH), is "African Americans and Labor." You can read more about this year's theme and past themes here. All are welcome to join us in celebrating Black History Month 2025!

Description: Dive into Black History Month at the Marriott Library! Books and DVDs related to Black History will be available for students to peruse and check out. Also, Special Collections will have some materials from the archives on display.

Description:UCC is thrilled to host "Black Joy," an event dedicated to celebrating culture and community. Join us for an uplifting program featuring a presentation by Lex and Kandis, exploring the history of Black joy and its connection to mental health. Description: Join CSAR to "Express Yourself" at this special event in honor of Black History Month! This event is a drop-in style art activity open to all.
