A nation-wide update by EduPoint, the company behind-the-scenes that manages our student information system, interfered with our February 24 registration due date last night; therefore, we are extending the deadline.

• Students currently in grades 9, 10, and 11 who were unable to enter their  course requests into StudentVue OR haven't uploaded your registration worksheet in Schoology, please do so by the new deadline of Sunday, 2/28 at 11:59pm.

Once you have submitted your registration worksheet you will notice a coding system that was created to track student submissions.

0 = You have NOT checked off 14 boxes and/or your worksheet was not submitted properly
1 = You have checked off 14 boxes on your worksheet and successfully submitted your worksheet
2 = Your counselor has reviewed your submissions and has confirmed your registration for the 2021-22 school year.

• Online course registration must completed by Wednesday, February 24.
• Students must also submit the Online Registration Worksheet (available February 9) signed by their parent indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their Schoology account by February 24.
• The 2021-22 Course Catalog will be posted online the morning of February 9.
• The instructional video presented to students in Advisory February 9 will be available on the WHS website for your convenience.
• Counselors will be available immediately following Advisory on Tuesday February 9 from 2-3 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 10, 1-4 p.m. via Zoom for follow up questions at this zoom link:  https://nsd.zoom.us/j/81062481048  If for some reason a student cannot make Advisory on Tuesday, February 9, there will be a make-up session on Friday, February 12 during Advisory (1:25-1:55 p.m.) at the same Zoom link: https://nsd.zoom.us/j/81062481048

• Please note the master schedule of courses developed for the 2021-22 school year, along with corresponding staffing decisions, will be based on the course requests students make at this time; therefore, students are encouraged to process their choices and weigh all the options carefully before making final selections.

• Online course registration materials and information will be provided virtually to LMS and TMS 8th-grade students in the WHS pathway during their Period 4 Check-In on Wednesday, February 10.
• Online course registration must be completed in StudentVUE by Wednesday, March 3.
• Students must also submit the Online Registration Worksheet signed by their parent indicating they have reviewed their student's course requests to their Schoology account by March 3. The Online Registration Worksheets will be provided through the student's Schoology account February 10.
• The 2021-22 Course Catalog will be posted online February 9.

A live Class of 2025 8th-Grade Parent Registration Information Night webinar will be held Thursday, February 25, 6:30-7:15 p.m. for parents/guardians to view the course registration information presented to students February 10.

Additionally, to clarify and answer questions with the transition to the comprehensive high school setting, pre-information sessions will be held on Thursday, February 25 for parents of students within the following programs:

• HiCap, 5:45-6:15pm
• Special Ed, 6:15-6:30pm
• EL, 6:00-6:30pm

To complete enrollment for your student:

1) Confirm eligibility
2) Submit the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire
3) Follow the required online enrollment process

*Note: If your student has previously been enrolled in Northshore School District**, enrollment forms will be sent to you by email. Complete the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire above in #2. Do not complete the online enrollment process above in #3, as you and your student have a previous record in the system.

Former NSD students returning to NSD/WHS

Students who previously attended a school in Northshore School District* and are returning to WHS:

1. Confirm eligibility
2. Complete the WHS Preliminary Enrollment Questionnaire
3. Enrollment forms will be sent to you by email. To fully complete online enrollment be prepared to provide the following by email in order to register:

• Proof of age for the student - provide a copy of birth certificate or passport
• Proof of residency living in our service area - provide a copy of a current utility bill or current signed rental agreement
• Immunization record - provide a copy from your health care provider. Parent signatures are required in both places at the top of the form. See the district page on required vaccines.
• Academic history - provide either an unofficial transcript, report cards, and current class schedule. A withdraw slip showing exit grades will need to be provided if transferring during the school year. You will need to provide an official sealed transcript in order to transfer high school credit previously earned.

4. Once all enrollment documents have been received and verified, the Course Selection Worksheet will be provided after March 22, 2021 by email.
