Bio

Alex Donahue is a licensed architect with over a decade of professional experience. Donahue is passionate about design at all scales, from the urban design of cities, exterior, and interior architectural design to wearable product design. Alex is an Associate at Michael Graves & Associates, where he has participated in design projects both worldwide and locally within the District of Columbia. He has previously practiced architecture at several internationally recognized design firms in New York City and Washington, D.C., including Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM), Pei Cobb Freed, and SITE (Sculpture In The Environment). Donahue also produces independent product designs under his own label. Alex has received several design awards for his independent work, including the 2020 GOOD design award, sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Center for Architecture and Urban Design in the field of product design.
