On September 17th, we joined together for our annual New York Honors Gala to raise money to fight cancer and celebrate Big Loud's CEO/Partner, Seth England. And what an incredible night it was, raising over $2.6 million. We are proud to be part of such a special community that shows up to honor one of our own and support our efforts to cure cancer. The money we raise goes a long way in helping our doctors, scientists, and hospitals continue their research to find breakthroughs in cancer screening, treatments, and early detection. Every bit matters, so we hope you'll continue to donate as we approach the end of the year. A heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all that you contribute. And for helping make this year’s New York Honors Gala so successful and memorable. And one we plan on topping next September 2025 at our 50th-anniversary celebration. We can’t wait to see you there!
About us
The T.J. Martell Foundation is the music industry's largest foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for cancer. The Foundation sources and supports early-stage research projects aimed at developing more effective clinical treatments for patients which otherwise might not be funded. Over the years, we have kept the Foundation’s roots deep in the music industry and hundreds of volunteers have worked passionately with our staff to raise more than $280 million for cancer research which has been successfully leveraged into several billion dollars in additional funding from larger funding sources.

We were born out of a promise made by a father to his son battling Leukemia. While that promise has sustained our mission for almost 50 years, we know this isn’t just about one family. It’s about all the families fighting cancer and working so hard to cope, fight, and stay optimistic. The money we raise at the T.J. Martell Foundation goes directly to the research that might lead to breakthroughs in early detection, screenings, and treatment. We are willing to fund high-risk research because we know the rewards could be life-changing. As we look to celebrating 50 years next year, we’re grateful for your contributions and support - efforts we know have and will impact families all over the country. This is how the music community comes together for a cause. For those in the business, fans, or anyone a part of our family, let’s let other families know we have their back.
