Welcome to Student Housing at the University of San Francisco! We are here to help create your home away from home. Below you will find important dates and updates for the upcoming semester.

Important Dates and Updates

  • The 2024-2025 housing application is now live as of February 1st. Application deadlines are as follows: March 1st for continuing students, May 10th for new freshmen and graduate students, and June 10th for new transfer students.
  • ATTENTION NEW FRESHMEN: Students who submit a housing application by May 15th will be included in our initial assignment process and will receive their housing assignment on June 14th. Those who apply after May 15th will still receive housing but will not receive an assignment until after our initial round of housing placements. 
  • The spring 2024 late stay request is available for approval through USFRooms. If a student is approved for a late stay then they will be charged a daily rate.
  • The fall 2024 early arrival request will go live in late May 2024.
  • The spring 2024 room change process for current residents will open on February 9th in USFRooms. It will close on April 19th.
  • The fall 2024 room change process will close on April 19th at 5PM and reopen in mid to late May 2024.
  • Room selection for continuing students who submit completed applications by the March 1st deadline will occur between April 8th through April 17th. All students who did not or were not able to select a room will be automatically added to the waitlist which will be published on May 10, 2024.
  • The summer 2024 housing application will become available this spring. More information will be provided at a later time. 
  • Spring move-out is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024. All residents MUST vacate their academic year rooms by 12:00 PM.
