The fully ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Management (OSHM) degree at Grand Valley is designed to equip individuals with the essential skills for entry-level positions in safety management, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection, while concurrently laying the groundwork for professional certification. The demand for proficient, fully-qualified safety professionals is on the rise in Michigan and across the nation.

I would advise someone who is new to this field to never stop learning. Some people think that once you get a degree, that's it and you're done. That's very limiting! Industries and safety are always changing and advancing.
