More Inclusion – Acts 9:1-22; Revelation 11:15-19

1. Do we really believe “the earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it”? What demonstrates our belief or unbelief?
2. What about God (Holiness? Justice? Love?) have you believed is “off limits” to you, to some people, to certain groups?
3. Who would be a person that you would struggle with accepting if they came to your church? What about you needs to change for them to be welcome?

More Witness – Acts 8:26-39; Revelation 7:9-10

1. Of whose story of faith do you see yours as a “descendent?” How did their story make yours possible?
2. How can the church be a “wilderness” space? A wilderness people?
3. What would have to change for us to share a God with people who don’t agree with us?

More Unity – Acts 4:32-35; Revelation 5:8-14

1. Does our relationship to a body of believers determine our actions and attitudes? If so, how? If not, why?
2. What would change in our individual and corporate actions if we truly saw ourselves as priests and a priestly community?
3. Are being connected and feeling connected the same thing? Why or why not? What do you feel fosters connection best?

1. How does or can the church demonstrate weakness as power?
2. What must the church give up in order to gain the power of weakness?
3. How might the church better understand power as something creative? What avenues, areas, or disciplines could the church interact with to use power to create and sustain good things?
4. In the Acts narrative, the religious leaders seem to be opposed to a healing. In what ways do we protest healing or wholeness? How does or might the church be the place of radical healing?
5. In the Revelation narrative, the church’s power and identity is tied to a lamb bears the marks of slaughter. Is the church so marked?
