Get That Money!: Scholarship Workshop 2022-2023

Join us for the Women’s Resource Center’s Annual “Get That Money!: Scholarship Workshop” hosted by the WRC’s Peer Mentorship Project and Leena Shrestha from the Advising Center! This workshop will review writing skills and tools, tips for scholarship searching, accessing resources for support, and the different challenges faced when writing scholarships. Hear from the Writing Center and the Financial Aid Office for more support in navigating scholarships.  Let's Get That Money!

Date/Time: Thursday, November 17th from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm 

Location: La Casa Latina (SMSU 228)

Be on the look out for our two-part student-led conversation series in Winter Term where we will talk more in-depth about the challenges of tokenization and "proving worthiness" within the writing process, tips from peers on how to build experience and connection during an ongoing pandemic, and support from peers on scholarships!
