Oklahoma Film and Music Day at the Capitol 2024
On Monday, March 25, 2024, film and music professionals gathered at the Oklahoma Capitol for Film and Music Day to highlight our industries for state legislature. The event included live performances from local musicians as well as close to 60 exhibitors with interactive booths and demonstrations representing Oklahoma’s robust film and music sectors, including organizations specializing in career development opportunities, workforce training, business services, community resources and more. Oklahoma Film and Music Day provided an opportunity for state leadership to directly connect with film and music leaders, enabled professional networking across the industries and emphasized the impact of the film and music sectors in Oklahoma. An annual event, the next Oklahoma Film and Music Day at the Capitol is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025. With the "Pivotal Work: Early Access Video Series", the Oklahoma Film + Music Office invites audiences to preview the valuable educational panels and discussions typically featured at OF+MO hosted or sponsored events, like our Oklahoma Film and Music Conference. Join some of the state’s leading industry professionals for this free video series, which features workshops and discussions designed to educate and inspire audiences seeking to learn more about career opportunities within Oklahoma’s film and music industries.
OF+MO hosted the “OF+MO Zoom Series” at deadCenter Film Festival in June 2021. This series highlights the state’s film workforce, infrastructure and education with a variety of special guests, including industry professionals, partners, educators and state leaders. Join the Oklahoma Film + Music Office for a presentation highlighting the impact of Oklahoma’s film and television industry on local businesses and learn more from Oklahoma film producers and business leaders about how companies have expanded their services to support and benefit from new revenue generated by statewide film and television production.
