Two IUP Academy of Culinary Arts students received the 2022–23 Linda Drummond Deabenderfer Scholarship. Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to use towards their educational expenses.
John Serian, Punxsutawney (left), and Michael Stibrik, Commodore (right) were the recipients of the Linda Drummond Deabenderfer Scholarship. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be in good academic standing with special consideration given to residents of Armstrong, Indiana, and Jefferson counties.
Linda Drummond Deabenderfer, a long-time supporter and member of the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts Advisory Committee, established the scholarship to financially support students in the culinary field at IUP.
