Thank you for your support of WorldCrafts artisans around the world!

TN WMU WorldCrafts Advocate- Charlyene Couey

I am so excited to be a WorldCrafts advocate for middle Tennessee.

I'm passionate about WorldCrafts because WorldCrafts became a big part of my life several years ago at mission fairs for WMU.  I learned it was not just pretty jewelry but a ministry that provided income to women around the world.  Growing up in Panama and Morocco, I had seen the ways women had to live and try to feed their children.  Recently, I had the privilege to work with refugee ladies at Begin Anew Refugee Artisan Group in Nashville screen-printing for WorldCrafts.  Their love of life, work ethic, and willingness to work was pure joy to see!  WorldCrafts gives these women a sense of worth, pride in their work, fellowship with others and an opportunity to learn about our Father!

Are you looking for a different way to involve your congregation in missions? I would love to come to your church to share the vision and mission of WorldCrafts. After seeing the beautiful products produced by WorldCrafts artisans and learning how WorldCrafts is transforming the lives of impoverished people around the world, your church will want to become involved in this ministry, too.

There are several ways I can share WorldCrafts with your congregation or missions groups:

  1. Provide a 30 minute presentation to explain the work of WorldCrafts and its eternal impact.
  2. Set up a display so that people can learn about WorldCrafts’ artisans, see some WorldCrafts products, and order online.
  3. Guide your church in setting up a WorldCrafts market.
