What Joy in serving the city during Crossover! WMU will participate in Crossover Indianapolis to plant seeds, share the gospel, and give people an opportunity to respond.
SUNDAY, JUNE 9
WMU Missions Celebration
Indiana Convention Center, 500 Ballroom, 12:00-5:45 p.m.
What Joy in discovering ways God is at work in our midst and around the world! Hear inspiring stories from missionaries and missions advocates who are making Christ known. Discover a wide variety of missions-focused ministries and initiatives with our “Idea Pit Stop,” a self-paced interactive area designed to provide tangible, takeaway ideas for greater missions involvement. Music for worship will include Native Praise Choir as they celebrate 25 years of ministry!
Your registration fee of $40 includes:
- What Joy! How to Stay and Not Flee (WMU emphasis book for 2024–25)
- Custom bag
- Catered break with light refreshments
- Music for worship and engaging missions speakers
- Inspiration and ideas for your missions journey
MONDAY, JUNE 10 through WEdnesday, June 12
WMU-sponsored events related to SBC Annual Meeting
What Joy in being a part of the body of Christ! Today, 59% of the world has little or no knowledge of Jesus. That’s 4.7 billion people. It takes all of us—every Southern Baptist—working together to reach the lost. As you fellowship with others at the SBC Annual Meeting, be sure to check out the following:
Panel Discussions Featuring WMU on CP Stage in SBC Exhibit Hall
Listen in on these panel discussions facilitated by WMU leaders on Monday, June 10 for insight and inspiration:
- 9:00 a.m.—On Mission Together
- 9:30 a.m.—Mental Health for the Next Gen
- 4:30 p.m.—Solutions for Missional Engagement
WMU Booth
Come by our booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall to race an RA derby car, learn more about missions discipleship, or just to say hello! The Exhibit Hall is located in Halls C–G and hours are:
- Sunday—3:00–7:00 p.m.
- Monday—8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.*
- Tuesday—8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday—8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
*On Monday, be sure to see who takes the checkered flag at the RA Derby Car Races! SBC entity leaders race at 2:00 p.m.; state WMU presidents and executive directors race at 3:00 p.m.
Women’s Expo
Be sure to visit the WMU booth and shop select WorldCrafts items! The Women’s Expo is located in the Sagamore Ballroom Lobby in the Indiana Convention Center and hours are:
- Sunday—3:00–7:00 p.m.
- Monday—8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday—8:00–11:30 a.m. and 1:30–3:00 p.m.
These events are sure to be a memorable step in your faith journey. We can’t wait to see you there!
You’ll need to register separately for Crossover!
After you register for Crossover, you will receive notification in late April of specific service opportunities and will select your service project at that time.
