I picked this up in the store and could Not put it down. The feel of the neck is impressive. I feels like you have been playing it for 5 years. The sound is Awesome. Guitar pickups are powerful and quiet sounding. Great electronics. Well crafted guitar. Attention to details.
Pickups leave much to be desired.

I loved the guitar at first site and then I played it. Pickups are very muddy. The bass notes are far from tight as gretsch describes. High have zero sparkle. Nearly impossible to try and dial in, even on a para EQ. Also tried to adjust the height and pole pieces. Still a no go for me. I won't play it until I get around to swapping the pick ups. Would make a great jazz guitar if that's your thing.
Very capable value that can tackle any genre!

3rd time I have bought a Cateye streamliner 2 black and gold ones 1st on was the better of the two. THIS one the QC is completely on point no fret sprout, binding is flawless I don't mind the black block inlays. It could be for Jazz, Rock, Whatever! This on may exceed the the black Beauty Cat eye even though there is one less pick up and no Bigsby. The are great values
