You Chose "A" The Dick Van Dyke ShowThat's Correct!

The Dick Van Dyke Show was the last show to have its entire run filmed in black and white.

One of the most popular American sitcoms on television in the early 1960s, The Dick Van Dyke Show ran on CBS from October 3, 1961 to June 1, 1966. The show's creators planned to shoot new episodes in color in the sixth season, but the series was canceled after five seasons, so the show's full run remained in black and white.

The show centered on the work and home life of a television comedy writer, Rob Petrie (played by Dick Van Dyke). A young Mary Tyler Moore played Rob Petrie's wife, Laura, and the two played a married couple so convincingly that many viewers thought they were actually married in real life.

The Dick Van Dyke Show won 15 Emmy awards over the course of its run. In 2002, it landed in 13th place on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.
