Mayor Paul Young announces partnership with Bloomberg company for sustainability initiative

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) -Earlier this week, Memphis Mayor Paul Young announced a partnership with the Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities initiative.
Mayor Young says BASC is a three-year, 200-million-dollar initiative for select cities to develop environmentally friendly communities.
Mayor Young believes the partnership will help improve ways to build up racial equity and reduce the effects of climate change on Memphis communities.
