Bethlehem, Pa. – Stockton University (5-4) reeled off eight consecutive goals to pull away from Moravian College (5-5) for a 15-11 victory in a non-conference road game. The Ospreys held Moravian scoreless for nearly 22 minutes during the run.
Michelle Pascrell (Howell/Freehold Twp.) led Stockton with five goals and two assists for seven points plus four draw controls, three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Jennifer Toal (Pine Beach/Toms River South) contributed three goals, two assists, two draw controls and two ground balls.
Emily Deworsop (Monroe Twp./Monroe Twp.) and
Mary Meduri (Brigantine/OLMA) chipped in with two ground balls and four draw controls apiece.
Allie Bremer (Oakland/Indian Hills) also scored twice for the Ospreys.
Pascrell offset two Moravian goals with a pair of her own for a 2-2 tie before tallies by Deworsop, Toal and Meduri vaulted Stockton into a 5-2 lead. The Greyhounds responded with five of the next six markers to take a 7-6 edge with one minute left in the second quarter.
Holly Yannacone (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) tied the game with 14 seconds remaining in the period for a 7-7 tie at the break. The tally was the first of eight straight by the Ospreys. Stockton dominated the third quarter 5-0 on two goals from Bremer and one each from Toal, Deworsop and Pascrell.
After Pascrell and Toal capped the eight-goal outburst by scoring in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter, Stockton's lead was 14-7 with 10:04 to play. The Ospreys led by at least four the rest of the way and Pascrell added her fifth counter of the game to seal the 15-11 triumph.

The Ospreys have a pair of home games this weekend, opening NJAC play against Ramapo on Saturday at 2 p.m. and then hosting Colorado College on Sunday at 1 p.m.
