Workday Training Opportunities

In order to provide you the skills needed for Workday, classes will be offered beginning in early March continuing through April 1st and beyond.  You can go to EDGE to sign up for a training session soon! Sessions will be shown that are available to you, based on your department. Please note that the first two weeks below are scheduled at this time. We are continuing to add sessions targeting the weeks of 3/26 and 4/2.

During the week of March 12th, most general sessions will be held from 9-11 a.m and from 2-4 p.m. General session topics include:

-navigating within Workday

-learning terminology

-viewing your Workday inbox and notifications

-accessing your personal profile

-viewing Bucknell departments & organizations

-entering time and time off/absence

-creating expense reports

During the week of March 19th, general sessions will continue while additional role specific sessions will begin. Examples of role specific sessions include staff in the roles of academic assistants, managers of student employees, and cost center managers (budget responsibility).

During the weeks of 3/26 and 4/2, training sessions will be equally distributed between general and role specific sessions. Sessions will continue to be added in the coming weeks.

Please note before you attend a training session:

-Most training sessions will be held in a computer lab, but you are welcome to bring your Bucknell laptop.

-Workday is a single sign-on system, therefore, your DUO security methodology must be available to you to login while in training. If you need assistance with changing your DUO authentication factor, head here: http://ow.ly/FxzJ30iyAeS. If you use your office phone for DUO, this will not be an option during the training session.

In addition to these facilitated sessions, we are also building a robust library of videos and job aids that will be available within Workday. If you would like to check out online training materials now, head over to the Workday Help and Training Site to see a small subset of those materials.

If you have any additional questions, check out our FAQs.
