ORIENTATION TRAINING signup sheet

In this training you will learn all about how we operate on the VRA property, from where things are located, to how to assist experienced volunteers during sessions. This is a requirement for all new volunteers before they come to participate in barn chores or other activities at VRA. Our goal with this class is to introduce you to our facility and to make you as comfortable and welcome as possible. For those that have experience with horses, this training will assure we are all on the same page. We will go over basic equine behavior and how to behave around horses, as safety is one of our top priorities. We will touch on the basics of assisting with sessions. Learning is an every day experience when volunteering here...we love to teach and love to watch our volunteers grow!
