Support Georgia Libraries

Georgia's libraries and librarians are the focus of four bills currently active in the Georgia Legislature which would negatively affect students' access to materials they want and need.  Parents and guardians already have options to manage their own child's reading options in our public schools but these bills would allow others to restrict opportunities for ALL students.

Please contact your Senator and Senate Rules Committee leadership with the communication options provided to ask them to not allow objections of some to limit options for all students. Please support librarians priority in spending more time working with students rather than unnecessary administrative duties from these bills and their right to participate fully in their national professional organization.

Thank you!
