Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University earned its first-ever weekly award from the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference as the varsity eight was chosen MARC Crew of the Week for women's rowing. The Ospreys were recognized after winning both of their races against Iona College in Atlantic City on Saturday.

Izabelle DelRoss (Egg Harbor City/Cedar Creek),
Chloe Schulze (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands),
Caitlyn Fogarty (Jackson/Jackson Memorial),
Olivia Hurley (Bayville/Central Regional) and
Kayla Bokor (Wayne/Roxbury) rowed in both victories.
Lorelei Hendricks (Burlington/Doane Academy) was the coxswain for the varsity eight that claimed the MARC Crew of the Week accolade.
Stockton won the first race by 37 seconds with a time of 6:13.8 to Iona's 6:50.8. The Osprey varsity eight later posted a time of 5:54.7 over the 1800-meter course to win its next race by 27 seconds over the Stockton second varsity eight while Iona finished third.
This weekend, Stockton will host fellow MARC team Catholic University on Sunday, April 11 at the Atlantic City Boat House. The racing is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
