We are thrilled 🤩 to announce two new members of our Dental Resource Program! Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) Dental in Danbury, CT and Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers Dental Department in Cashton, WI. Both organizations provide dental services to children who would otherwise go without to help them grow up with healthy smiles! That brings the total number of safety-net dental clinics that we serve to 51 in 22 states! Dental care is the number 1 unmet healthcare need for people with disabilities. As a result, they have higher rates of gum disease, untreated tooth decay, and more missing teeth. Happy National School Nurse Day! These cuties from Dayton Public School District in Dayton, OH are thanking their school nurse and the Delta Dental Foundation for helping them learn how to keep their smiles healthy. This spring we are distributing oral health education resource kits to school nurses in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana thanks to the generosity of the Delta Dental Foundation.
