Avocado Rat is Brooklyn’s hipster version of Pizza Rat

Manhattan has Pizza Rat — and now Brooklyn has Avocado Rat.

The hip rodent was filmed carrying the fad brunch item in its mouth along the subway tracks at the Greenpoint Avenue stop and posted to Instagram Tuesday.

“Even the rats in #nyc are on trend. Hope he finds some toast,” wrote filmmaker Jessica Edwards alongside the footage.

Nearby hipster hot-spot Five Leaves sells “crushed avocado, green onion and radish” on “grilled” seven-grain toast for $9.

Avocado Rat’s forebear, Pizza Rat, won New Yorkers’ hearts when it was was filmed carrying a full slice down the stairs of an East Village subway station in 2015 — and was later joined in viral infamy by Pretzel Rat, Pizza Raccoon and, of course, Taco Squirrel.
