Michael Corry, PhD, has research interests including online student, teacher and administrator success, online learning policy, learning and instructional design technology, faculty development using technology, the integration of technology into K-12 and higher education settings, instructional design, human-computer interaction, user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX). Dr. Corry served for over 12 years as the Director of the Educational Technology Leadership program at George Washington University (GWU). He currently as the Senior Director of Online Learning Initiatives at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at GWU. He has also been involved with the creation and management of the GWU Online High School where he currently serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board. Additionally, he has been the principal investigator on two U.S. Department of Education grants involving "Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology”. He has authored many books, papers, chapters and presentations and been a guiding voice for online learning and the use of technology in education for over 25 years.
