Medical Assistant
We are a fast paced, growing family practice in Rochester Hills seeking a full time Experienced Medical Assistant. The applicant must be self-motivated, self-directed, able to receive constructive criticism and apply it respectively. We strive for teamwork and seek the same with an emphasis on multitasking and positivity.
We are looking for a Full time Experienced Medical Assistant. Duties include:
- Patient Care, vitals, rooming patients
- Must be knowledgeable with computers/typing skills
- Assist with minor procedures: cyst removal, mole removal, IUD insertion
- Perform EKG's, Digital X-rays, clinical testing, autoclave, administer injections, childhood vaccines, diabetic testing and lab draws
- Verify patient demographics, attention to detail, and proper medical documentation
- Stock and clean patient rooms and medical office
Other duties include but not limited to:
- Answering/Triaging calls
- Medication/Refill requests/Medication Authorizations
- Sending messages to providers
- Transferring calls

Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
