POSTED SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 | DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC ALERT: Via City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) - Stone Avenue at Sixth Street, including the Stone Avenue underpass, is [now] reopened to all northbound and southbound travel. The traveling public will use the new intersection configuration at Sixth Street, which will also allow motorists traveling northbound on Stone Avenue to proceed eastbound onto Sixth Street. Sixth Street remains closed to through travel just west of Stone Avenue, while crews continue work at the Union Pacific Railroad tracks to construct a new underpass. Motorists traveling eastbound on Sixth Street west of Stone Avenue will continue to use the Church Avenue detour to bypass this closure.
