The conference
Our goal is to empower and inspire interfaith student leaders.
The Ripple Conference offers time to learn, engage, reflect, and share. Together we will learn about other traditions, including religious, spiritual, and secular worldviews. We will engage in social justice and interfaith dialogue. In smaller community groups, we will share our own perspectives and process the conference experience. Other events within the conference will offer time to share music, stories, and delicious local food.
The Ripple Conference offers a balance of structured and unstructured, small and large group events to provide a unique conference experience. We don’t just want to talk about interfaith, we want to make it happen.

2024 Theme:
INterfaith
around the world
We will gather together at Elon University in beautiful North Carolina from February 9-11, 2024 to make interfaith happen. This year, our Ripple theme is Interfaith Around the World. At the conference, we will ask: how do different expressions of religious and spiritual identity vary around the world? What kind of diversity is there within each religious tradition? And how does the practice of different religious, spiritual, and ethical traditions differ within diverse geographic regions?
At Ripple, Elon University’s student-led interfaith conference, you can engage with these questions, and more. At Ripple, students are encouraged to engage in genuine (and fun!) interfaith work to prepare them to develop as interfaith leaders and ambassadors.
That’s the ripple effect – giving students a positive multifaith experience that inspires them explore their own identities, ask tough questions, and further engage in sustained interfaith within their own communities. Participants will engage in dialogue, reflection, and training through keynote speakers, panels, and interactive breakout workshops.
