Florida Georgia Line Dig a Hit With ‘Dirt’
That’s a lot of “Dirt.” With a whopping 182,929 digital downloads, Florida Georgia Line‘s new single made quite an impression in its first week of release, landing at Number One on the Country Digital Singles chart. “Dirt,” from FGL’s upcoming album due in the fall, also ranked Number Two on the all-genre Top Digital Songs chart.

The critically well-received “Dirt,” which looks at soil as the glue that binds life experiences together, all but covered country radio as well. With 130 stations adding the track, it set a record for the most added song in one week’s time in the history of trade publication Country Aircheck. “Dirt” also topped iTunes all-genre sales chart.
The duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley learned the good news while in New York City last week to perform “Dirt” on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Currently on the road with Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line are finishing up recording of their next album, the follow-up to their two-times platinum debut Here’s to the Good Times, with producer Joey Moi.
