Josh Bleibtreu A.S.C., D.G.A. Cinematographer, Josh Bleibtreu, is a 35 year veteran cameraman in the feature film industry. Josh’s images are woven into some of America’s finest, award winning films of the last three decades including Forest Gump, Apollo 13, Castaway, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Dark Knight. His main area of expertise is in the filming of complex action sequences and his work is an intricate part of some of Hollywood’s biggest and most innovative action movies. Josh currently splits his time traveling, shooting on location and licking his wounds in the mountains of Big Sur.
Philip Glass One of the most innovative and creative artists of the 20th century, Philip has received three Academy Award nominations for his film scores and has performed at the Henry Miller Memorial Library in 2008 for our annual benefit concert, and twice in 2011, including a performance of his score for the 1931 Bela Lugosi film “Dracula” as part of his 2011 Days and Nights Festival.
Laurie Anderson (emeritus) Experimental artist, composer, and musician, Laurie is also a dear friend of the Henry Miller Memorial Library, having played our annual benefit concert in 2005. Laurie is a pioneer in electronic music and has invented several devices that she has used in her recordings and performance art shows. She is now ’emeritus’ and asked us to ‘soldier on without her!’

Lawrence Inglee Lawrence is an American film producer who serves as the President of Lightstream Pictures. Inglee has worked as a producer on a number of films, including “The Messenger” by director Oren Moverman and “The Day After Tomorrow” by director Roland Emmerich.
Susan Zsigmond Susan has been involved in writing and directing in Los Angeles since 1989. With a background in journalism and alternative book publishing in the Bay Area, Ms. Roether began working with independent directors at Farley Film Group and Pacific Ocean Pictures, writing and helping to produce low-budget films and documentaries in San Francisco in the early eighties. Her first-hand reportage on the making of the film Witches of Eastwick was featured in American Film magazine.
David Price David was born into the unorthodox and particularly creative environment of Big Sur in the 1960s. Much of his childhood was at Esalen, he is the son of Founder Dick Price, and he would later study, work, and manage Esalen. He was dubbed “the first child of the 1960s” by San Francisco Chronicle/Examiner writer Don Lattin in his book “Following Our Bliss: How the Spiritual Ideals of the Sixties Shape Our Lives Today. David Price is now an American film and television actor and musician who lives and works in Poland.
