High Dive Heart
High Dive Heart arrives with its EP Sonic Graffiti, released July 17 on independent abeautifularmyoftrees. The pair consists of Jason Reeves — who has written with Colbie Caillat — and Nelly Joy, formerly half of the JaneDear Girls, which hit No. 10 on Top Country Albums in 2011 with their eponymous debut. Jack Garratt
British singer/producer Jack Garratt continues his rise on the Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart with “Weathered” (47-20), which blends introspective songwriting with subdued electronic production. The song caught the attention of OneRepublic, which tweeted July 3 that the track is “the most amazing new song” it’s heard “in a long while.” Garratt released the EP Synesthesiac on Island in April. Olivia Lane
Olivia Lane is bubbling under the Country Airplay chart with the plucky “You Part 2” (Big Spark). The cut earned a 17 percent gain in audience for the week ending July 19, according to Nielsen Music.
