Environmental Justice Advisory Board

The Environmental Justice Advisory Board (EJAB) is charged with making written recommendations to the Secretary concerning policies, practices, and actions that DEP may implement to advance the goals of Environmental Justice. EJAB will also advise the Secretary and the staff of the Office of Environmental Justice on the implementation of DEP's Enhanced Public Participation Policy.

EJAB provides an important forum for stakeholders and residents to share environmental concerns in their communities. EJAB may hold public meetings at its discretion for the purposes of receiving public comments and conducting inquiries concerning Environmental Justice. If you would like to provide public comments during an EJAB meeting, please contact RA-EPOEJ@pa.gov or 717.772.5633.

EJAB Meeting Schedule

EJAB meetings are held quarterly from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. The EJAB will convene in a hybrid format virtually and in the Delaware Room of the Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA and begin at 9:00 a.m., unless noted below.     The November 15, 2016 meeting of the Environmental Justice Advisory Board (EJAB) was rescheduled to Wednesday, December 14, 2016. This meeting was a combined meeting of both EJAB and the Citizens Advisory Council.
