  • NYG Cornerback #44
The Giants lack depth in the secondary and it currently appears as if the three-year veteran will get a shot at a starting perimeter cornerback role this season. McCloud has appeared in 33 games for New York, 11 of which have been starts, amassing 71 tackles and nine pass defenses during that time.
  • FA Quarterback
Rapoport adds that the quarterback will attend a dinner with “brass and coaches” from New England tonight before his official visit tomorrow. It’s no secret the organization is in dire need of a quarterback after moving on from failed former first-round draft pick Mac Jones this offseason, with New England seemingly leaving no stone unturned in a relatively deep draft class at the position. Penix appears to be climbing up draft boards around the league after demonstrating “elite arm talent” at his pro day, now a potential first-round selection after largely considered a Day Two pick early in the offseason.
  • GB Running Back #31
Wilson was an exclusive rights free agent, meaning he was never at real risk of going anywhere else unless the Packers opted not to bring him back. Wilson has rushed 14 times for 85 scoreless yards in his career and will need to battle to make the 53-man roster this offseason. In additional to Wilson, the Packers also signed punter Daniel Whelan to his ERFA contract.
  • DET Running Back #13
Reynolds was an exclusive rights free agent this offseason and will now return to battle for a spot on the team’s 53-man roster. The former UDFA has stuck around on the Lions for the last three seasons after previous stops in Washington and Jacksonville and has totaled 119-511-1 on the ground while adding another 22 catches for 218 yards since 2021. His contributions on special teams have been valuable in his efforts to make the team each of the last three seasons and will likely play a role in deciding whether or not he’s on the team in 2024.
  • TB Defensive End #92
Gholston has spent his entire 11-year career with the Buccaneers and is set to return for a 12th season this year. The veteran lineman played on a career-low 244 snaps last season despite playing in 16 games and hasn’t registered a sack since 2021. Gholston is likely returning on a low-end salary and will be used in a situational role.
  • DEN Defensive Tackle #90
Blackson is a 10-year vet who has also spent time with the Titans, Texans, Cardinals, and Bears. The former fourth-round pick played on just 215 snaps last season — a career-low — and appeared in only 11 games. Blackson has started in 42 of 128 career games and will likely serve as a situational role player for the Broncos this season.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #18
Much like CeeDee Lamb, Jefferson is another star receiver currently set to play out 2024 under the fifth year of his rookie contract. Jefferson, who is arguably the league’s best receiver, has reportedly had “a lot of great dialogue” with head coach Kevin O’Connell, who said it “remains to be seen” what Jefferson will do over the remainder of the offseason. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Jefferson stay away from voluntary programs until he and the team reach an agreement on an extension, but it also wouldn’t be surprising to see him hold out of training camp if a deal still isn’t in place.
  • LV Center #65
Whitehair was the Bears’ second-round pick in 2016 and has been with them for the last eight seasons. He’s started 118 of the 124 games he’s appeared in for his career and was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2018. With experience at both guard and center, Whitehair provides the Raiders with a bit of versatility along the interior. He earned a PFF grade of 45.0 last season — the lowest mark of his career.
  • KC Wide Receiver #4
Rice is in the midst of a well-documented reckless driving case and faces up to eight felony charges related to a collision in a street race. Reid said he has spoken to Rice and said when questioned about Rice, “I’m leaving that, like we’ve done most of these, for the law enforcement part to take place, and then we will go from there with that.” We still have a long way to go before we know where things stand for Rice as far as 2024 availability is concerned.
  • CIN Tight End #48
Adomitis was an exclusive rights free agent. A snapper of the longest snaps you’ll ever see on a Sunday, Adomitis has been with the Bengals since 2022 after making the team as an undrafted free agent. In addition to Adomitis, the Bengals also signed LB Joe Bachie to a one-year deal.
