Home Free revisited the laughs and memories of the good ol’ days in the video for their cover of “Castle on the Hill.”

The five-man a Capella group mimicked Ed Sheeran’s loop pedal skills with that of their own vocals to take on the pop radio hit. Focusing in on a couple kids in love with the freedom of being young, scenes of a summer romance bring viewers back to the happy memories of a first love.

Encapturing the true feeling of the nostalgic summertime vibes, Home Free overlooks the gorgeous Oregon scenery in which they film hills of golden waves and dirt roads leading to adventure galore. Not skipping a beat of the original tune, the guys never stop as they explore the open road while each flashback scene plays out.

“The imagery in ‘Castle On The Hill’ is so vivid and nostalgic. I think everyone, old and young, gets caught up reminiscing when they listen to this song,” said Home Free’s Austin Brown (tenor).

“I fell in love with this song because it paints such a beautiful picture for the listener. It pulls at the heartstrings and makes you nostalgic all at once. And the best is part is it’s a blast to sing,” added the group’s Adam Chance (baritone).

Crossing covers over to country music is Home Free’s specialty as they took home the trophy for winning season four of The Sing-Off in 2013. They’ve been gaining fans ever since with their unique renditions of hit songs done all with the sounds of their voices, from hits like “Elvira” to “How Great Thou Art.”
