Pierre Lamarche is a sought-after
speaker at international coaches workshops and conferences. The
creator of important Canadian tennis publications such as Tennis
Canadas Schools Program Manual, the Club Training Program
Manuals and Certification Manuals, and founding member of ITF's
Coaching Commission, made his mark in countries like Tunisia
and, of course, Canada.
As the President of ACE Tennis,
Pierre is leading Canada's top Player Development Center for
the last 30 years. ACE Tennis is committed to the development
of excellence in youth through the sport of tennis. The center
offers leading edge tennis training and competitive programs
for individual development in a supportive educational environment
and provides specific progressive programs for players of all
levels and commitment.
ACE Tennis is operating out of two locations: Cedar
Springs Health, Racquet Sports Club in Burlington and Toronto
Tennis City.
Pierre is also the founder of
ACE Replay, a video replay system in the proof-of-concept stage,
giving players and coaches the opportunity to buy replays of
on-court activities such as matches via an ATM hard wired to
cameras on various courts.
ACE Tennis will assist
national players in reaching performance levels that will provide
them with the opportunity to compete at the world-class entry
level. |

Located in Burlington, Cedar
Springs Health Racquet & Sportsclub is over 200,000 sq.
ft.making it the largest multi-sport recreational facility in
the area. Indoor and outdoor water parks include 7 swimming pools
with a 25m lap pool, 4 water slides, hot tub and 2 kids splash
pads. Cedar Springs has 11 indoor tennis courts for year round
play, 6 racquetball courts, 11 squash courts (6 international,
2 hardball, and 3 doubles), and 4 badminton courts. |
Toronto
Tennis City is Torontos most unique tennis destination
located at Yonge and Davisville. The club provides its members
with year round access to red Italian clay courts, a beautiful
clubhouse, first rate adult programs and a service oriented staff. |
ACE Tennis has now operated out of Burlington for
the past 12 years and the company continues to grow. In 2010
the All-Canadian group opened a new facility Toronto Tennis City
in the Davisville area of Toronto. The club consists of 5 clay
court with 4 of them covered by a bubble during winter season.
A new fitness facility, ACE Fitness has been opened as of November
2010 at the Toronto Tennis City site. The club boasts over 200
members, and the ACE Tennis progressive and high performance
programs. January 2011 marked the launching of ON Court, an on-line
version of Canadas tennis newspaper of the 1980s
and 90s.
The operation of the ACE Tennis
Academy is funded through the programming fees levied to players
and their parents. ACE Tennis also receives support through
various partnerships with Cedar Springs Health, Racquet &
Sportsclub, the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada.
Corporate and private sponsors also provide funds for certain
projects and initiatives. |
