The Florida Department of Education works closely with school districts before, during and after natural disasters to ensure they have the resources necessary to resume normal operations as quickly as possible. K-12 School Closures
- Franklin County Schools will delay opening Thursday, April 11, 2024, until 10:00 a.m.
- Gadsden County Schools will have a 1-hour delayed start on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
- Gulf County Schools will have a 2-hour delayed start on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
- Jefferson County Schools will be closed Thursday, April 11, 2024
- Leon County Schools will delay opening by one hour on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Godby High School will be closed on Thursday, April 11, 2024 due to flooding.
- Wakulla County Schools will be closed Thursday, April 11, 2024.
- Washington County Schools will be closed Thursday, April 11, 2024.
