According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2023/24 marketing year totaled 18.8 MMT, sitting 1% behind last year’s pace. Total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2024/25 marketing year totaled 2.5 MMT, sitting 98% ahead of last year’s pace.
Net sales of 406,911 MT for 2024/2025 were primarily for Taiwan (106,700 MT), unknown destinations (95,000 MT), Colombia (43,500 MT), Chile (38,000 MT), and Japan (27,000 MT).
USDA forecasts 2023/24 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to total 19.3 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 97% of total projected exports.
