Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley is planning to set sail on his own for new solo music. On Tuesday (April 6), the country star announced his debut EP BK’s Wave Pack, due April 13.
“Bringing summertime a little early with ‘Beach Cowboy’, ‘Made By The Water’, ‘Party On The Beach’ and ‘Sunday Service in the Sand,'” he captioned his breezy, beachside album artwork that he shared on Instagram. Fans who pre-ordered the four-track pack here can enter a sweepstakes to win a beach cowboy hat and customized video message from Kelley.
The EP will be his first project under Nashville South Records, which he formed in partnership with Warner Music Nashville as an outlet for his own music, Billboard exclusively reported last week. His full album is expected to be released later this year.
“My Wave Pack EP is a snapshot into my world and the life I’m living — whether it’s a little party on the beach, or a little Sunday service in the sand,” Kelley said in a press release. “And you don’t always have to be on the sand or by the water, you can take the vibe with you wherever you go. ‘Beach Cowboy’ is a way of life and state of mind.”

Kelley and his FGL bandmate Tyler Hubbard rang in the new year by announcing their intentions to record solo music without totally going their separate ways. Shortly after the news, Hubbard teamed up with Tim McGraw on their “Undivided” collab, which they performed at the Celebrating America primetime special during President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
FGL’s fifth studio album for BMLG Records, Life Rolls On, debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart after its February release. The first single, “I Love My Country,” reached No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart, while its subsequent single “Long Live” is sitting atop the tally this week (dated April 10).
